We were contracted to remove mold from the air ducts at a Kannapolis apartment. This system had spores growing on the blower, blower housing and registers.
We removed the blower motor so we could take it outside of the building to clean properly. Our negative air machine was connected to the blower housing to ensure good pressure during cleaning.
We used an anti microbial down each vent line while under negative pressure. We cleaned the coils and condensate pan while checking the drain for proper function. We removed all the registers and replaced them with new because they were beyond restoration. This is a typical procedure for CLT here in the Carolinas.
If you need air duct cleaning or suspect you have mold in your system we encourage you to contact us.
